Firefighter Fitness 2016

-90 Minute workouts, once a week

-Local gym, professional trainers, prepared firefighters!

Get a jump start on your way to a healthier you. Be prepared for fighting fire! In this fun class, you will learn healthy eating and lifestyle tips, as well as skills you can use on the fireline. We will teach workouts you can do at the gym, in your own home, or at the fire station. You will get productive feedback from professional trainers and other firefighters, and most of all, be a more conditioned firefighter ready to take on anything!

Types of workouts and training will vary. We aim to help everyone become more fit, and familiar with different styles of workouts. In these 90 minutes, we will do cardio, lungs , and heart conditioning, basic stretching, and productive workouts. Many of these will be on the job simulation training for you to use as a firefighter.

All workouts will be90 minutes in duration, free to firefighters, and all active duty firefighters are welcome. Learn to live a healthy lifestyle, and have fun becoming a better prepared firefighter.

February: 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th
March: 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th
